   WebMD is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical resources for patients on-line. It covers all avenues of health and fitness, as well as medical news and other relevant topics. Access to some of the features requires that you register as a member, this is a free service.
  The American Cancer Society is dedicated to the prevention and eventual cure of cancer. This website contains information on all types of cancer and is aimed at both men and women.
  The American Diabetes Association's mission statement is "To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes." This website contains a wealth of information and new information is added regularly.
  The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology is "a driving force in the study and treatment of allergic diseases through education, research and cooperation since 1943." There is a very useful feature on this website called "Tips To Remember" which allows you to print out important information about asthma and allergies.
  The Arthritis Foundation was exists to "prevent, control and cure arthritis." Here you will find lots of information, as well as a section called "Starting Points" which clears up some misconceptions that people have about arthritis.
  Founded in 1914, the American Social Health Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to stopping sexually transmitted diseases and their harmful consequences to individuals, families and communities. This website contains links to national AIDS foundations and answers questions about STD's and related topics.
